Available when you need us.  Once engaged, we provide advice when you need it --
there is no need to get a proposal, hire a large team, and constantly bring new
consultants up to speed. We are always
"on call" for you.    

Practical advice.  We understand real world limitations. Even the best ideas are
useless if they cannot be used.  We bring both line and ownership experience, and we
know that execution is more than just resources, there are the realities -- the 'cards you
are dealt'.  We work in the real world -- the realities of where you and your company is
now in terms of resources, personalities, organization.  We help identify when you
should try to change the cards you have been dealt, but recognize that this usually
requires a longer term transformation.

Knowledge breadth and expertise in many industries and problems that allows us to
provide new perspectives, help identify patterns, and transfer concepts from one
industry to another.  If you have always believed that 'someone must have dealt with this
issue before' but have never figured out how to get that knowledge, we can help. Our
professionals are generally more experienced than those at other consulting firms -- you
get partner and senior executive level support, not junior consultants.  All of our
professionals have global experience, and most have both worked and lived overseas.  
Furthermore, we match the individual styles of our professionals to your particular needs
and the personalities of your team.

Trust. We don't talk in specifics about what we do, nor do we work for competitors.

We learn very fast.  Our operating and consulting experience allows us to get up to
speed quickly on the key issues facing you and your company.

We serve your agenda, not ours. Our goal is to make you successful -- we measure
ourselves by your  results.  We are not trying to sell projects, pet frameworks, or put
teams to work.  We stay in the background as much as possible. You determine our
level of visibility.  Much of our advisory work takes place directly for a senior executive,
either in person or on the phone.  

Selectivity.  We only undertake projects where we feel we can truly be of help.  Our
goal is a satisfied client that is 100% sure they are better off than before we were
involved.  We don't have teams of junior consultants that we need to keep busy.  Unless
we are sure that you can benefit from our help, and that we have the right resources
(skill levels, styles, expertise) available for you, we will not take on the engagement.

Flexible fee structure. We will work with you to create a fee structure that matches your
needs. Most clients choose our "pay as you go"
on demand fee approach, which
provides a very high value to cost.  We can also offer success based fees, milestone
payments, and reduced fees combined with sweat equity.  Our overall philosophy is that
we are sharing a commitment with you.  Our time is as limited as yours, so every
engagement we take on is a major decision for us as well -- so you can be certain that
we will act as though we have our own 'skin in the game.'
